The “Business Council of Renewable Energies of Senegal” (COPERES) was created following the first International Conference “Environment and Energy Independence: Public-Private Partnership and Civil Society to meet the challenge of Development and Promotion of Renewable Energies in Africa »Organized by TENERGIE and the Club de Convergences Plurielles in partnership with ENDA and the private sector of Renewable Energies of Senegal, from October 5 to 6, 2015 at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar, Senegal.
The association emanates from the National Associations of Renewable Energy Professionals which bring together entrepreneurs under Senegalese law, independent producers, installers, managers of rural concessions, consultants and other private renewable energy services under Senegalese law.
COPERES is also a member of the Professional Association of Renewable Energies of ECOWAS (APER-CEDEAO).
